Everybody knows that Christmas is about keeping the Santa Secret and pleasing your children. Therefore, the most dreaded words are uttered on Christmas Eve. "I changed my mind, I want a [pony, scooter, bike, Red Rider BB gun]" A close second place winner is, "Can I have a New Year's Eve party?" Then, "Me, too?"
oh no!! did it go through the dryer too? it might still work if it dries out ...
ReplyDeletei might have said oh something too... but i don't think it would have been crap :-)
I did this once...and it wasn't even my phone.
ReplyDeleteAnd it did dry out, and it worked afterwards.
Cue the choir of angels...
Oh, crap!
ReplyDeleteTake it apart and submerse everything in uncooked rice...I've seen it work. It supposedly draws the water out. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteCrap would have been the last choice of words had this been me.
ReplyDeleteI can safely say - haven't done this one yet. Dropped mine a million times yes - but no water submersion.....yet.
Maybe it will dry out. We put our wet phones in a can of rice for a day or so. Some have actually worked again.
ReplyDeleteI'm BIG on pocket checking. I'm terrified of doing this very same thing because I am sure my kids don't think to clean out pockets before putting clothes in the hamper.
ReplyDeleteI hope the phone still works. It's possible. Maybe?
ARRRRGGGG!!!! That is the pits!
ReplyDeleteRice is your only hope. Once, it took a phone of ours a whole month to dry out after it fell into a certain circular water repository (clean) that we have in out home. My experience is that the washer is particularly tough on electronics, but my fingers are crossed for you. And I am sure that I would have used socially unacceptable language.
ReplyDeleteI did that to Jarin's i-pod. The kids KNOW I don't check pockets - it's a job I refused a long time ago. I put it out in the hot hot hot garage for three days and it resurrected. hmmm.... coincidence? I think not.
ReplyDeleteHairdryer..?
